Background
This pond was again a rebuild but originally constructed by the home owner. Don wanted the rock work to be improved and to have better filtration because he was tired of the maintenance. We installed a skimmer and a new external down flow filter which are much easier to clean than his previous filter which was located within the pond itself

The pond measures approximately 5 x 9 and is 2 feet deep. There are no fish but I'm encouraging Don to introduce a couple of small goldfish for mosquito control

Background
We boarded Mario's fish during the Winter of 2008 as he was in the midst of moving. The landscaping refresh was extensive at his new home during the Summer of 2008 - and it included a koi pond

We worked with the landscaper to create the pond with our main objectives being pond plumbing and filter installation. The landscaper installed the wooden membrane which was coated with fiberglas and he also completed the stonework

We continue to service this pond on a monthly basis

Background
This pond had some history. It was originally a pool that was filled in to include a pond. That pond was built of concrete and with time had begun to leak. Don also wanted to enlarge the pond. There was quite a bit of demo involved with the project and we filled a 4 yard bin to the brim with concrete and rubble

This pond is technically quite basic, with a pump in the pond going to a external Laguna Filter. It is triangular in shape with each side being about 10 feet in length and with a depth of 2 feet We will update these pictures in 2009
