Background
This pond/waterfall is another rebuild. It was leaking quite severely and we first tried to rectify that situation. We managed to slow the leak down considerably and with the addition of an auto refill, the pond was running okay. But ultimately the client did not like the look and opted the following year for a complete rebuild
The big improvements were getting a bottom drain into the pond and setting up a small external filter. New stone was chosen and this feature now looks totally different then when we started. We also did the soft landscaping and it will take a few years to grow in. There are no fish in this pond - it is shallow at less than 2 feet

Background
Ed showed up at our shop with a lot of questions. He had already spoken to several pond builders and was dubious after discussions with them. Because he has done his homework, he knew enough to know he wasn't getting the right answers
This pond was not a rebuild and Ed supplied me with these photos. Ed had a pond in Toronto and this is pond to enjoy during retirement. This pond is a good size and almost 6 feet deep. There is a major watershed issue on his property as he is close to the lake and in behind his home is a massive hill. We addressed this with a french drain

Background
Yet another pond rebuild. The original rock work was good. However the pond was leaking and the rock collapsing as there was no concrete collar in place. This was a tough job as the 300 lbs stone was moved by hand and everything had to come out
The pond was deepened to about 3 feet but space did not afford a bottom drain. The pond has an external drum down flow filter we custom built to the specifics of the site. Three koi and plants were introduced and were all doing fine when observed at the pond closing in November
