Justin's Pond, Toronto, ON - 2006

Background
This small formal pond does not house any fish. It is strictly for show and it is the only formal pond we have constructed. It took us some time to get the irregular stone lengths to evenly meet at 4 corners. The pond is 8 x 4 and 2.5 feet deep. There is a small external barrel filter

Richardson's Pond, Scarborough, ON - 2006
Background
Another classic rebuild, the big problem with the original pond was the lack of a concrete collar. Although it lasted a few years, it eventually started to crumble. The other design flaw was placing stone right beside the interlock border - it is much better to bring the liner right to the interlock rather than having interlock and then stone

This was very similar to the Szeto's pond, on portfolio five. This pond is about 6 x 12 and we made it a little deeper. It houses several large goldfish but no koi

Raymond's Pond Pond, North York, ON - 2006

Background
This is the second pool to pond conversion we have completed. The first was Yanti's Pond on portfolio five. The challenge is to make a formal pool look like an irregular, natural pond. First, it was backfilled with sand by a pool fill-in company. We then went to work and installed a bottom drain, shaped the shell and got the large vortex in place. The rest of filtration is external overflow design, placed in the back corner. We have 2 returns from the filter, 1 at the waterfall and the second 2" return in the opposite shallow end
